About (English)
If You Were Born Again is an interactive web experience that lets people draw a different life weighted by real statistics: a past life drawn from the roughly 104.5 billion people born before 1900, a next life drawn from the population of animals alive today, or a birth in Joseon-era Korea drawn from historical household registers. Every result shows the real statistic behind it.
Today each result is assembled from statistics and short pre-written story fragments. We plan to use Claude to turn each draw into a richer, personal short story while keeping the underlying statistics accurate and clearly separated from fiction.
